Dr. Azmy A. Allam, M.D. FACP, FCCP, DABSM (left)
Dr. Azmy Allam, a graduate of the Cairo Medical School in Cairo, Egypt, has been practicing medicine in the United States since 1984.
Dr. Allam completed his residency at the Downstate Medical Center in New York from 1984 through 1986. He completed a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care at the Downstate Medical Center from 1987 to 1989, and is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, sleep medicine, and hospital medicine.
Dr. Allam, who was in the top 5% of his medical school class, moved to Owosso, MI in 1989 and has served in several different leadership capacities at Memorial Healthcare, including Chairman of the Department of Medicine, Chairman of the Critical Care Committee, Director of the Critical Care Unit, member of the Executive Committee, Respiratory Department Director, Sleep Disorder Director, and Director of In-Patient Management Services.
In 2006, Dr. Allam moved Owosso Medical Group from the Memorial Healthcare facility to the new campus at 200 Health Park Drive.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer, riding bicycles, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Margaret A. Purdy, M.D., M.S., MT (ASCP) (center)
Dr. Margaret Purdy earned her undergraduate degree in Medical Technology from Michigan State University. She completed a Laboratory Internship at Sparrow Hospital School of Medical Technology. Her advanced degree in Clinical Laboratory Science was completed at Michigan State University with a published Master of Science Thesis entitled: Neutrophil Antigens and Antibodies a micro-agglutination detection technique and population study. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and completed her Residency in Internal Medicine at Michigan State University Associated Hospitals.
Dr. Purdy joined the Owosso Medical Group team in 2001 and specializes in Internal Medicine in several capacities: Primary Care in the office setting, inpatient Hospitalist Service and Intensive Care medicine. Dr. Purdy also serves as the Director of Laboratory Services for the Owosso Medical Group on-site laboratory to ensure quality laboratory testing.
Dr. Purdy resides with her family in Haslett, Michigan and her hobbies include 5K charity competitive walks with family, colleagues and friends. She encourages her patients to join her for the health benefits and fun of 5K walks. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Wendy King earned her undergraduate diploma in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Michigan and her Doctor of Medicine diploma at the University of Tennessee. After serving her residency in internal medicine at Michigan State University, Dr. King joined Owosso Medical Group in 2002.
Dr. King specializes in internal medicine in several capacities: primary care, inpatient and outpatient care, and intensive care.
Dr. King resides in the Perry area with her husband and several pets.
